We are looking for two dynamic individuals to join the service management team in Göteborg. It is a great opportunity for someone with a good blend of social and technical competencies to work in an international environment. The global Service Management team consists of 25 service managers, operating from three different locations; Göteborg, Montreal and Singapore.
As a Service Manager you will:
- Be the main contact person at Jeppesen for 1 to 3 clients together with the Account Executive
- Assist the client’s in-house support & administration team with the daily management of the product, according to the existing maintenance agreement or Service Level Agreement
- Manage the client and their expectations of the support role that we provide
- Assist the client with knowledge injections and problem solving
- Act as internal customer on behalf of the clients; monitoring and emphasizing that issues regarded as important by the client are being dealt with
- Collect and monitor client requirements for new product versions
Qualifications
A mix of business aptitude and technical savvy will be required to effectively fulfill the role of the Service Manager.
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Unix and/or Linux
- Ideally familiarity with shell scripting, python and CVS
- Customer Relationship Management / Customer Service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A good command of the English language
- Strong technical & analytical aptitude
- You are good at and enjoy solving problems
- Experience of programming or software development is an advantage
